TEL AVIV (Sputnik) — At least one Israeli was killed and five others were injured in a shooting attack in the West Bank settlement bloc of Gush Etzion on Thursday, the police said.
"Terrorist opens fire at Israelis standing at gush Etzion area… 1 man killed, 5 taken to hospital for medical treatment. 2 terrorists shot, search for 3rd," Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld tweeted.
The attack in the West Bank followed the fatal stabbing of two Israelis by a Palestinian man in the Panorama office building in Tel Aviv earlier in the day.
