    French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said that France is expecting help from the European Union with operations in Syria and Iraq so that Paris may redistribute its forces.

    PARIS (Sputnik) France is expecting help from the European Union with operations in Syria and Iraq so that Paris may redistribute its forces, French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said Tuesday.

    "France cannot do everything at once, be both in the Sahel, in the Central African Republic, Lebanon, ensure security on its national territory with own forces," the minister told reporters.
