France Carried Out 24 Missions in Syria, Iraq Between October 15-21
The French military has not conducted airstrikes against ISIL militants in Syria since October 9, according to a spokesman for the French Armed Forces.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — France performed a total of 24 missions in Syria and Iraq, hitting 11 targets controlled by Islamic State (ISIL) in Iraq between October 15 — 21, a spokesman for the French Armed Forces told Sputnik Friday.
The French military has not conducted airstrikes against ISIL militants in Syria since October 9, he added.

The spokesman, however, refused to comment on upcoming operations for security reasons.
France conducted its first airstrikes in Syria in late September, as part of a US-led international coalition that has been targeting ISIL positions in Syria and Iraq.
French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said earlier in October that "not the first time" the French Air Force had carried out airstrikes on an IS training camp in Syria and pledged that France would continue to bomb the terrorist positions.
