Ankara Public Prosecutor's Office announces the death toll in Ankara terror attack has increased to 102, according to a local media.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The death toll in the twin suicide bomb blasts in the Turkish capital of Ankara has risen to 102, Ankara Public Prosecutor's Office announced Friday, as quoted by the local media.

"Ankara Public Prosecutor's Office announces death toll in Ankara terror attack increased to 102," the Turkish Daily Sabah newspaper said on its Twitter account.

On October 10, a double blast hit Ankara ahead of a peaceful anti-war march that was intended to call attention to the recent surge in violence in the Turkey-Kurdish conflict.

On Wednesday, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said the suicide bombing attacks might have been carried out by either the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) or the Islamic State (ISIL) jihadist group.

No responsibility has been claimed in the killings.
