Clashes With Israeli Troops in Gaza Strip Claim Lives of Six Palestinians

At least six Palestinians were killed and over 60 were injured during ongoing clashes with Israeli soldiers along the Gaza Strip’s border fence, a spokesman for the local Health Ministry said Friday.

GAZA (Sputnik) — Up until today, the Palestinian coastal exclave had managed to stay out of the protests raging in the West Bank and in the Arab outskirts of Jerusalem.

"The death toll rose to six, 64 were injured. Ten of them are in a grave condition," Ashraf Kidra told RIA Novosti.

The Israeli military claims that it had opened fire on the crowd to suppress the hundreds of Palestinians who had reportedly stormed the Israeli-controlled border in northern Gaza.
