MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The weapons being sent to the Syrian Armed Forces are meant for countering terrorist threats, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a commentary Wednesday.
“The arms being sent to the Syrian Army are for the purpose of countering terrorist threats that have reached insurmountable sizes in Syria and neighboring Iraq,” Zakharova said.
