    ISIL Releases Video of Boy Shooting Alleged Spy in Iraq

    The Islamic State militant group released a video on Saturday showing a boy executing an alleged spy in northern Iraq.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The four-and-a-half-minute video, narrated in Arabic, shows a young boy shooting a man several times.

    According to the SITE intelligence group, the victim was an accused spy.

    The Islamic State, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), is a Sunni jihadist organization widely known for its brutality.

    The group has released multiple execution videos, including beheadings of foreign nationals.

    Vast areas of Iraq and Syria are currently controlled by the militants.
