Iran to Keep Centrifuges in Fortified Location Under Nuclear Agreement
LAUSANNE (Sputnik) The US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Friday resumed negotiations on a possible nuclear deal in Lausanne, Switzerland, a Sputnik correspondent reported.

Head of Iran Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi and US Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz are also taking part in the talks aimed at ensuring the peaceful nature of the Iranian nuclear program.

The diplomats of the P5+1 group and Iran stated the current negotiations are a "move forward, not backward" after they began in Lausanne on Thursday.

The West has long accused Tehran of using their civilian nuclear program as a cover-up to develop nuclear weapons.

Iran and the P5+1 countries, comprising Russia, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany, have been trying to reach an agreement for over a year.

A final deal is expected by July 2015 while a political framework for the agreement is anticipated by the end of March.
