Egyptian President stated that Egypt reserves to itself a right to respond to the execution of 21 Egyptian Copts by ISIL militants in Libya.

CAIRO, February 16 (Sputnik) — Egypt reserves to itself a right to respond to the execution of of 21 Egyptian Copts by Islamic State (ISIL) militants in Libya, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi said in a televised address to the nation.

Late on Sunday the jihadist group released a video depicting the execution of 21 Egyptian Christian hostages. Earlier in the day media reports claimed that a group of fishermen was abducted by the armed militants.
