    Saudi Arabia Suspends Embassy Work in Yemen As Tensions Pick Up

    Saudi Arabia shuttered its embassy and moved diplomatic staff out of Yemen as tensions mounted in the troubled Arab nation.


    Saudi Arabia put on hold all embassy operations and evacuated diplomatic staff at its mission in the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Friday, Al Arabiya News Channel reported.

    Britain, the United States and France earlier pulled their ambassadors and other staff out of Yemen and suspended work at the embassies over mounting security concerns.
