If the weather conditions remain favourable, people in southern South America, south-west Africa, and Antarctica will see a partial solar eclipse.

Watch a live broadcast from Piedra del Aguila, Argentina, where a total solar eclipse will put some parts of the country in the shade on 14 December.

This is going to be the last eclipse of the year, and apart from some Argentine regions, it will be visible from Chile.

According to astronomers, a partial solar eclipse will also be seen in southern South America, south-west Africa, and Antarctica if the weather is fine.
