"In the first days of October, we will take part in the Energy Week. As you know, we have great cooperation with Russia in this area, a power plant is being built in El Salvador with [the participation of] a Russian company," Chevez said.
Since 2017, Russian companies of the EurosibPower Engineering group are engaged in the construction of the Chaparral hydroelectric station in El Salvador.
"This [the level of representation] has not been specified yet, but we expect the most important, the highest leader who heads the energy sphere in El Salvador to come," Chevez said.
The Russian Energy Week will be held in the Russian capital of Moscow on October 3-6. The forum is set to focus on discussions of the existing situation in the fuel and energy area, namely, on seeking solutions to its challenges.
