MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Argentina's former federal planning minister Julio de Vido and ex-minister of public works Jose Lopez will also be questioned.
"There is enough evidence to call her [de Kirchner] for questioning," Judge Julian Ercolini was quoted by La Nacion newspaper as saying.
Kirchner is accused of defrauding the state of over $5 billion. She allegedly manipulated the central bank to set an artificially low rate for dollar sales on futures markets. Central bank president Alejandro Vanoli and former Economy Minister Axel Kicillof were charged alongside the nation’s deposed leader in May.
