MOSCOW (Sputnik) — As Bolivian legislation allows coca leaf cultivation which is deemed a part of indigenous culture, Bolivia remains the third largest producer of coca behind Colombia and Peru.
"The main thing in the operation is that we prevented distribution of illicit substances in form of 7.58 tonnes of pure cocaine hydrochloride," Romero said, as quoted by ABI news agency, adding that estimated value of seized drugs amounted to $379 million.
