Evo Morales said that Bolivia plans to return to the topic of purchasing Russian helicopters for the fight against drug trafficking.

LA PAZ (Sputnik) Bolivia plans to return to the topic of purchasing Russian helicopters for the fight against drug trafficking, Bolivian President Evo Morales told Sputnik.

"I am very sorry we did not move on that issue [further] through our direct executors. But I would like to. I know that there are interesting helicopters. If to speak aloud, if [someone] wanted to supply us with large [helicopters], in particular with ones operating at great altitudes, in the mountain areas, it would be a great opportunity to purchase and gain access to such technology," Morales said in an interview.
