    MOSCOW (Sputnik) Around 50 people could have been killed in a prison riot in northeastern Mexico, local media reported Thursday.

    According to the SDPnoticias news website, the riot broke out at around 12:30 a.m. local time (6:30 a.m. GMT) in the Topo Chico prison in the Mexican city of Monterrey.
