Almost 20 People Injured in Blast in Colombia's Capital

At least 20 people were injured Monday in an explosion in Bogota's Galerias district, fire department said.

MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) — According to the preliminary information, the blast occurred in the building owned by a pharmaceutic company, damaging a total of 16 houses.

Explosion of ethylene oxide is a possible reason of blast, however, causes still have to be determined.

Residents of the district have long asked the authorities to relocate the company, however, nothing was made.
