A lorry collided with a pickup truck full of passengers in western El Salvador, leaving at least 14 people killed and 12 more injured, news reports said.
According to a local police spokesperson, eight adults and six children died in the accident, which occurred in the residential area of the city of Santa Ana.
The lorry driver survived the accident, which is already being investigated, the spokesperson said.
