Some 400 employees from meat processing company Toennies earlier tested positive for the coronavirus.

Live from Rheda-Wiedenbrueck after 400 employees from the meat processing company Toennies tested positive for the coronavirus.

The slaughterhouse is located in Rheda-Wiedenbrueck. On Tuesday, 128 workers tested positive. In less than two days, the number of infected has doubled.

The district authorities have decided to shut down operations at the meat company and close all schools and daycare centres until the summer holidays.
