Earlier, the German newspaper Bild reported that Rammstein's frontman had been hospitalized in Berlin after testing positive for COVID-19.

The group, on their Facebook page, refuted rumors that Till Lindemann is infected with the coronavirus.

"Yesterday evening Till Lindemann was admitted to a hospital on the band’s doctor’s advice. He spent the night in intensive care but has been moved as he is feeling better. Till has tested negative for the coronavirus", Rammstein's statement reads.

Earlier on Friday, Bild reported that Lindemann had been hospitalized in Berlin with a high temperature and pneumonia-like symptoms.
