    According to the NL Times news portal, a 54-year-old man has died at a local hospital following a shooting that occurred on Friday in the Dutch city of Eindhoven. Local news website Studio040 reported that the victim was apparently shot while sitting in his car.

    The NL Times reported, citing a witness, that the suspect had fired at least two shots. Local police have so far not taken any suspect into custody. At the moment, police have closed off the area to secure the crime scene and investigate the details of the incident.

    There are no official reports about the reasons for the shooting.

    The news comes just several weeks after a Turkish-born man committed a mass shooting, killing at least four people in the Dutch city of Utrecht.
