    Crowds of revellers are "invading" the streets of Torres Vedras, a small town near the Portuguese capital, which on Tuesday is hosting one of the most popular carnival parades in the South European nation.

    The carnival in Torres Vedras takes place on Tuesday, with satirical floats and Brazilian-style dancers marching through the town’s main street and thousands of onlookers cheering the parade along the road.
