UK Prime Minister Theresa May plans to publish documents outlining the toughening of London's position on several Brexit-related issues in two weeks, according to media reports.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — UK Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to publish documents outlining the toughening of London's position on several Brexit-related issues in two weeks, media reported Tuesday.

While May's office plans to start publishing position documents in late August, several papers on the issue have already been sent to the ministers of the Cabinet to reach a collective decision on the details of the Brexit talks, the Sky News broadcaster reported, citing government sources.

The position papers would focus on several issues, such as economy, data protection, and customs, as well as goods and service arrangements following the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

According to the media outlet, the documents aimed to unify the position of the Cabinet and to refute allegations that London is unprepared for the Brexit talks.

In March, the United Kingdom formally launched the process of withdrawal from the European Union. The country should finish the talks on Brexit before March 29, 2019.
