While nearly three-quarters (74 percent) of French citizens are planning to vote in the upcoming presidential elections, 43 percent have not yet decided on which candidate they will vote for, a poll showed Friday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) The Odoxa poll was conducted on March 22-23 and involved 1,005 adult French citizens registered to vote.

According to recent polls, National Front party leader Marine Le Pen and independent candidate Emmanuel Macron are projected to win the first round of the elections, with the former anticipated to lose in the second round.

The first round of the French presidential elections is scheduled for April 23, while the run-off between the top two contenders will take place on May 7.
