'Political Point Scoring': Farage Blames Merkel for Berlin Terror Truck Attack
TEL AVIV (Sputnik) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned on Tuesday the truck-ramming attack in Berlin and called for joint international efforts to fight terror.

"Israel condemns the attack in Germany, which appears to be a terrorist one. We express our condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the German government. We wish a fast recovery for those injured, among whom there is also an Israeli citizen," Netanyahu said.

Israel's prime minister reiterated his call for the joint international action against terrorism, expressed in the wake of the murder of the Russian ambassador to Turkey.

On Monday, a truck rammed into the crowd at the Berlin Christmas market on the Breitscheidplatz square, killing 12 people and injuring 48 more. The country's Interior Ministry has labeled the tragic incident a terrorist attack.
