    The driver of the truck that rammed into the crowd at Berlin Christmas market has been identified as 23-year-old Pakistani national.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Welt newspaper, the suspect, Naved B., was born on January 1, 1993.

    According to earlier reports said that the police searched the hangar at the closed airport Tempelhof where a refugee community is located. The detained driver was reportedly registered there.

    On Monday evening, a truck rammed into the crowd at a Christmas market in central Berlin. At least 12 people were killed and 48 injured. The police has confirmed that the truck-ramming was intentional.
