    Deadly Truck Attack in Berlin (93)

    Monday's truck ramming incident at a Christmas market in Berlin may have been a terrorist act, German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said Tuesday.

    BERLIN (Sputnik) — Late on Monday, German police said that at least nine people were killed and 50 injured by the truck ramming attack in Berlin. A suspected perpetrator has been detained, according to police.

    "There are several things indicating that this was a terrorist act," de Maiziere said, as quoted by the N-24 channel.
