    Deadly Truck Attack in Berlin (93)

    Germany's federal prosecutor has taken over the investigation into the truck ramming attack at a Christmas market in Berlin, Germany's Justice Minister Heiko Maas said Tuesday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Late on Monday, German police said that at least nine people were killed and 50 injured by the truck ramming attack in Berlin. A suspected perpetrator has been detained, according to police.

    "Shocking news from Breitscheidplatz. We are mourning together with the relatives. The Public Prosecutor General is taking over the case," Maas said in his official Twitter account.
