WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The NATO Support and Procurement Agency has signed a deal with the United States to acquire precision guided munitions for eight European nations, NATO announced in a press release on Thursday.
"Under the agreement, the participating Allies will obtain an initial batch of PGMs [Precision Guided Munitions] intended for delivery between 2017 and 2019," the release stated.
The PGMs will be provided to Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and Spain, according to NATO.
