MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Dutch News portal said that last year Dutch police recorded 446 anti-Muslim incidents, while in 2014 they registered 142 cases, referring to the latest report issued by Anne Frank foundation.
As regards the total number of reports on racism, anti-semitism and extreme right-wing violence, it rose to 4,165 last year.
The foundation considered that the rise in discrimination accidents was triggered by immigration crisis, as well as by terrorist attacks in European countries.
"The increase… is probably due to the rise in tension following terrorist attacks in western Europe and the arrival of Islamic asylum seekers," the news outlet cited the report.
According to the report, particular attention should be paid to the increased number of extreme right-wing groups’ members participating in anti-refugee demonstrations.
