    Paul Nuttall was elected leader of the UKIP on Monday, the party said.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Paul Nuttall, a UK member of the European Parliament, was elected leader of the UK Independence Party on Monday, the party said.

    "@paulnuttallukip has been elected as leader of #UKIP," the party said on its Twitter account.

    ​According to The Guardian newspaper, 62.6 percent voted for Nuttall.
