MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the document, the sides will tackle economic, defense and security issues that concern both countries and look for avenues to strengthen the existing ties.

"Minister for Europe and Americas, Sir Alan Duncan, will visit Georgia for the third round of our annual bilateral strategic dialogue, known as the Wardrop Dialogue," the government's statement said.

"We are committed to supporting Georgia as it seeks to strengthen democratic institutions, undertake important reforms, and further protect human rights and media freedom. That is why we are continuing our Good Governance Fund, which will provide up to £4.5million over the next year to help these reforms," Duncan said, as quoted in a statement.

The Wardrop dialogue, named in honor of first UK Chief Commissioner to Georgia Oliver Wardrop, was initiated in 2014 for the discussion of issues that concern both Britain and Georgia and determination of potential areas of cooperation.
