Police would install special checkpoints that would check the participants of the marches for firearms, knives and bottles, ahead the manifestants would be able to come to the rally points, the Sofia Globe news website reported.
Bulgaria's law enforcers would also close off roads affected by the rallies to traffic, the media outlet added.
Europe is currently facing a major refugee crisis, with hundreds of thousands of migrants attempting to reach deemed wealthy EU member states through various routes, including via Italy, Greece, Turkey and Balkan states. Despite Brussels' efforts to curb the migration influx, many people still continue to attempt to reach the European Union.
Bulgaria is located on the eastern Mediterranean migration route in Europe, which saw the heaviest influx of migrants coming through Turkey in late 2015.
