Slovakian police detained 20 people on suspicion of tax violations estimated at over 10 million euros ($11 million) during a special operation across several cities of the country, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Aktuality news portal, the operations was carried out simultaneously in Bratislava, Trnava, Kosice, Banska Bystrica and other cities. The damage of the illegal activities comprises approximately 10 million euros.

The number of detentions were made on the territory of the neighboring Czech Republic, the news outlet said.
