'Relatives are Our Only Allies': MH17 Investigators Won't Accept Russian Data
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the statement, Moscow called on the Hague to study in detail the radar data that Russia has recently handed over [to the investigation], which provides the most objective picture of the real situation in the Ukrainian airspace at the time of the catastrophe, and to use this data in the final conclusions.

"The head of the Dutch diplomatic mission was informed that…the Russian side has serious reasons to doubt the objectiveness, reliability and impartiality of the conclusions made by the Joint Investigation Team [JIT]," the ministry said in a statement.

Moscow also expressed hope that the JIT, in the framework of its competence, will provide an expert evaluation of Kiev's failure to close the Ukrainian airspace as one of the main causes of the tragedy.

A preliminary report released by the JIT last Wednesday claimed that the Malaysian Boeing passenger plane was downed by a missile fired from a Buk launcher, which had been brought from Russia and located in southeastern Ukrainian territory held by the local militias.

Moscow immediately rejected the findings, calling the report “biased and politically motivated."
