According to the paper, the now former Ukip media operations head believes that Prime Minister Theresa May, who leads the Conservative party, is following the ideology of Ukip’s 2015 election manifesto. She also noted that it had been an exciting experience to work with  "incredible politician" Farage, but in the recent period of his leadership, the Ukip’s policy became too aggressive, which provoked the mass defection among the party members.

The UK Independence Party is looking for a new leader after Farage announced his resignation in July 2016, saying that he achieved his goal after the nation voted to leave the European Union in a national referendum.

A new leader of the Eurosceptics will be chosen among the five candidates and announced on the first day of the party's annual conference in the city of Bournemouth, which is set to be held next week.
