IMF Communications Department Director Gerry Rice said that Ukraine can receive the next financial aid tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) before the end of 2016.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Kiev may receive the next financial aid tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) before the end of 2016, IMF Communications Department Director Gerry Rice told reporters on Thursday.

"On the next review, and the next disbursement, that could be by the end of the year, I don’t have a timing on that, and I don’t have numbers on that in terms of what the disbursements agreed might be," Rice stated in a press briefing.
