MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Later in the day, the man was arrested by police. "The man was arrested after a dialogue with police negotiators. The arrest took place without any dramatic incidents," the Funen island police said in a statement.
According to the statement, the arrested individual is a 22-year old Iranian resident of the center.
In a follow-up to the press release, the police force said that a no-fly zone was established over the asylum center.
"The ban applies to all types of aircraft — including helicopters and drones," the press release reads.
The statement suggests that the threats could come due to the Iranian man’s "broken heart." Policemen said they would further investigate the case.
