Warsaw Unlikely to Block Nord Stream 2 as Poland's Economy Needs It
Last week, Poland’s Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) objected to the establishment of a joint venture for the Nord Stream-2 project. It clarified that the UOKiK objection "does not determine the decision that is eventually issued" and issued a 14-day appeal deadline.

"The companies have already submitted an application to extend the response period for objections we presented by another 14 days," UOKiK official Malgorzata Kozak told Poland’s PAP news service.
