At Least 2 Killed, 49 Injured in Bus Crash in Spain

At least 2 people were killed and 49 more injured on Sunday in collision of a bus with a truck in the Spanish province of Cordoba, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Spanish newspaper Diario Cordoba, the bus carrying 55 people of nine nationalities, including passengers from Spain, Morocco, Singapore, Romania and the United States collided with the truck about 3 a.m. local time (01:00 GMT) in the southern Spanish district of Montoro.

The newspaper added, citing local emergencies source, that driver and a passenger died in the accident.

All the injured people, including the three ones, who suffered serious injuries, had already been taken to nearby hospitals, the newspaper reported.
