    Russian and Belorussian top Foreign Ministers' officials will discus joint actions on the African continent, Belarussian Foreign Ministry spokesman Dmitry Mironchik said Thursday.

    MINSK (Sputnik) — Russian and Belorussian diplomats will discus joint actions on the African continent, Belarussian Foreign Ministry spokesman Dmitry Mironchik said Thursday.

    "Under the plan of consultations between the Belarussian and Russian Foreign Ministries scheduled for 2016, the inter-foreign ministerial talks on issues of Africa's countries south from Sahara are set to be held on June 6 in Minsk," Mironchik said during a briefing.

    He added that the current conditions and prospects of intensification of relations between the two countries and African states, as well as the issues of mutual interest are on the agenda of the meeting.

    Belarussian delegation will be headed by the head of Africa and Middle East Department Igor Leschenya, while Russian delegation will be led by the head of the Africa Department Foreign Ministry Valery Utkin.
