BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — According to EurActiv information portal, the agenda of the Slovak presidency, beginning in one month, is a source of real concern for the European Commission. Officials of the commission are expected to meet with the Slovak government on Wednesday to hold the first discussion of the agenda.
On Tuesday, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker called unacceptable Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico's statements rejecting the possibility of introduction of the mandatory quotas for the distribution of refugees between EU member states.
Slovak presidency of the Council of the European Union will last from July until December.
