When asked by Sputnik if the cause of the crash could be a terrorist attack, the unnamed French investigator said that it could be possible, “but nothing is certain.”
“Finding the [black] boxes will take time,” the Frenchman said.
“We cannot confirm the explosion,” he said.
A EgyptAir Airbus A320 plane, carrying 66 people, disappeared from radar screens over the Mediterranean Sea, 10 miles into Egyptian airspace on May 19. The plane was headed from Paris to Cairo.
