The Alliance Police Nationale has organized the Anti-Cop Hatred to be held across France later in the day, citing discontent with the rising antipathy toward the police.

In recent months, mass demonstrations in French cities against reforms to the labor law have caused clashes between activists and law enforcement. Some protesters have shouted anti-police slogans, breaking windows and throwing bottles and stones at police officers. Police has responded by using batons and tear-gas.

According to the statement by the Alliance Police Nationale, hundreds of police officers have been injured during the clashes.
