    Stockholm Chemical Leak: Some 500 People Evacuated Amid Disaster

    A chemical spill at a high-risk laboratory in Stockholm on Thursday left several people affected and hundreds evacuated, local media reported.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Aftonbladet newspaper, up to 500 people had to leave their workplace, and parts of the seven-story building was cordoned off. Eleven people experienced dizziness and facial numbness as a result of the incident.

    ​Emergency services believe that there is no risk of explosion or any danger to the public.

    Medical university Karolinska Institutet, Royal Institute of Technology and some private companies operate the building.
