MOSCOW (Sputnik) — UK Prime Minister David Cameron said Wednesday he was happy to commit to introducing the British bill of rights in place of a similar law as soon as possible.
"I am happy to make that commitment," Cameron told the House of Commons at the weekly Q&A session in parliament.

Prime Minister Cameron announced last November he planned to replace the UK Human Rights Act as part of Britain’s initiative to reform its ties with the European Union.
The UK parliament’s EU Justice Committee published a report on Monday, criticizing the proposal as unnecessary. It said the bill sought to affirm the rights already contained within European Convention on Human Rights.
