    Spanish Police Detain Four Alleged Jihadist Recruiters

    Spain's Civil Guard detained four people, allegedly belonging to an organized criminal group, on suspicion of recruiting new members and disseminating of jihadist ideology, the country’s Interior Ministry said Tuesday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the ministry, those detained have allegedly been carrying out their activities primary on the Internet. Three of the suspects are Moroccans, one is a Spaniard.

    "The Civil Guard detained in the Madrid suburbs of Pinto and Ciempozuelos four people who led a group dedicated to jihadist recruitment and indoctrination," the ministry’s statement reads.
