Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, will vote on Thursday to annul its decision on assessing the work of country's former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk's cabinet as unsatisfactory, Maksym Burbak, leader of People’s Front faction in the parliament said Wednesday.

KIEV (Sputnik) — On February 16, Verkhovna Rada assessed the activities of Yatsenyuk's government as unsatisfactory by 247 lawmakers with the required minimum of 226 votes in favor.

"Annulment of the decision on unsatisfactory work of the government made on February 16," Burbak told reporters, speaking about the topics the parliament was expected to vote on Thursday.

He added that the lawmakers would also vote on the issues of support of Yatsenyuk's resignation and appointment of parliament speaker Volodymyr Groysman as country's new prime minister.

On Sunday, Yatsenyuk announced his resignation starting April 12 amid the ongoing parliamentary crisis in the country.
