BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — Every second Belgian believes that closing the country's borders to refugees would be an appropriate measure to prevent terrorist activities in Belgium, a survey revealed Friday.
The survey was carried out between March 24-27. The foundation interviewed 1,034 Belgian citizens for the poll.
Belgium has seen an escalation of terror-related incidents since the November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris.

A further explosion occurred at the Maelbeek station near the headquarters of the EU institutions. A total of 31 people, including 3 suicide bombers, died in the attacks. More than 300 were injured.
