MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Kerry visited Brussels in the wake of Tuesday's terrorist attacks that left at least 32 dead and over 300 injured.

On Tuesday, two suicide blasts hit the departures hall of Brussels' Zaventem international airport and an explosion shook a subway carriage at the Maelbeek station, close to the EU institutions. Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attacks.

"The sides expressed their condolences and sympathy to the victims [of the Brussels attacks] and used the opportunity to again express solidarity and determination in fighting terrorism within the scope of the close cooperation between the European Union and the United States… [they also] discussed the implementation of the recent Turkey-EU deal," the source told RIA Novosti.

On March 18, Brussels and Ankara announced a deal that will see one approved refugee resettled to Europe from  refugee camps in Turkey in exchange for every undocumented migrant who crosses from Turkey into Greece from March 20 onward.
